Tryba

Tryba is a characteristic for eastern Podlasie building made of wooden logs, with porch overlooking the sunny, southern side of Masiewo Glade. The house was built by Teodor Marczuk, who shortly after the war, along with other residents of Masiewo, had returned from deportation to the village burnt by Germans. The whole farm has retained its original, longitudinal arrangement of farm buildings, typical for the row type village, dating from the times of economic reform carried out in the 16th century by the Polish Queen Bona. The charm of old wooden buildings, a crane well, a cellar as if growing straight out of the ground...these are the features which give the farm a truly heritage look, as from an album with old photographs.

In 2011, Tryba underwent a major refurbishment and with its well - preserved original architecture and construction, became a comfortable year-round house, with a ground floor and an attic, in which up to 10 adults can be comfortably accommodated.

On Tryba ground floor, there is a spacious, fully equipped kitchen, combining modern amenities (refrigerator, cooker with oven) with a traditional kitchen stove, fully reflecting country house atmosphere. A large dining table with comfortable benches, a "couch" on the stove, antique lamps, windows overlooking the green backyard, all this makes the kitchen a perfect place to spend time with family and friends, at any time of the year. It is surely the most pleasant place to spend time in, close to the hot stove, during winter or cooler evenings...

Next to the kitchen, there are two separate bedrooms, sharing heating provided by a tiled stove. There is a double bed, a bookcase full of books and a large flatscreen TV. In the second bedroom, in addition to a double bed, there is also a bunk bed ideal for children accompanying their parents. In the ground floor there is a comfortable, modern bathroom. On Tryba ground floor there is enough space for four adults and accompanying children. Should more guests come, there are additional two bedrooms, with a separate bathroom, located in the attic. Both rooms are furnished with double and single beds, which can accommodate  up to 6 people. Cots for little children available on demand.

Tryba's main asset is its large, lush garden. Among the old fruit trees and ornamental flowering shrubs, the adults will find the perfect place to relax and children of all ages a safe place to play. We remind you about the animals living there - they love your company!
